The “Rural Aging in 21st-Century America” workshop will be held at the Country Inn and Suites, 1100 Danby Road, Ithaca (just 5 minutes south of the college).

Douglas T. Gurak, Professor, Department of Development Sociology, Cornell University

This workshop will examine the sociological, demographic, and geographic aspects of aging in rural and non-metropolitan areas of the United States, with a special emphasis on upstate New York.
