Please join the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures in congratulating Thomas Conners '14. Tommy is the winner of the American Council on The Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Cemanahuac Educational Community Scholarship. This is a very competitive scholarship program, and only one scholarship is awarded annually. As part of the scholarship, Tommy will travel to Cemanahuac, Mexico. There, he will participate in a full-immersion language-learning community with the purpose of gaining invaluable professional skills as a future teacher of Spanish language, literature and culture.
