Camden Weber ’15 and Lauren Ryan ’16 were recently named recipients of a New York Women in Communications Scholarship. Weber, a communications management and design major received the McGraw-Hill Companies Scholarship. Ryan, an integrated marketing communications major, received the New York Women in Communications Alumna Award for Excellence. The scholarships are awarded to 15-20 students each year who show academic excellence, need, and demonstrated commitment to the communications field.
Both recipients went to New York City in April and were featured on the TODAY Show, attended a VIP reception with names such as Ryan Seacrest and Joan Rivers, among others, and went to the luncheon sponsored by WEtv where they received their awards.
