Professor Sullivan was originally featured in a Travel Channel piece demonstrating how superconductors can help take roller coasters to the next level. This peaked the interest of local radio station, WHCU. The station interviewed Sullivan who explained the science behind the possibility of a floating roller coaster.
“The phenomenon of superconductivity is so unusual and counter-intuitive that it never ceases to amaze me,” Sullivan said.
