This past June, School of Music professor Kim Dunnick presided over the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) during the ITG Conference in Grand Rapids, MI, on June 9 – 15.This past June, School of Music professor Kim Dunnick presided over the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) during the ITG Conference in Grand Rapids, MI, on June 9 – 15.
In addition to the board meeting, Dunnick gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the opening concert and was the emcee for the awards banquet held on the final day of the conference. Kim is completing his second year of a two-year term as President of the 5,000 member organization of trumpeters.
