I am pleased to announce that Bailey Reagan ’12 has accepted the position of Assistant to the President, effective August 5, 2013.
Ms. Reagan was a Park Scholar at Ithaca College, majoring in Communication Management & Design. Winner of a coveted Campus Life Award as a senior, Ms. Reagan served while a student as an Orientation Leader, as a Student Leadership Consultant in the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs, as Executive Director of the Student Activities Board, as Vice President of her senior class, and as Secretary of the Senior Class Gift Committee. She was also an Assistant Teacher in South Hill Elementary School and served in a coordinating role for several student-organized charitable events.
Since graduating in May 2012 Ms. Reagan has earned a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, has taught English in Chile through the Council of International Educational Exchange, and served for a semester as Leadership Programs Coordinator in the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs.
Ms. Reagan’s principal duties in the Office of the President will be to route questions to the appropriate area or division, to assemble information necessary to respond to questions and concerns, and to draft routine communications from my office. She will also be involved in organizing events that originate in my office and in following up on special projects and initiatives to make sure they remain on track.
Ms. Diane Veroneau will continue in a reformatted and re-named position as Secretary to the President. She will continue to be responsible for my calendar and for general administrative assistance within the office. Please continue to bring to Ms. Veroneau any matters you have been accustomed to putting in front of her over the last 5 years.
