Prepare for a future in land management by enrolling in the Ithaca College Natural Lands (ICNL) Student Intern Training (SIT) program.
Ithaca College Natural Lands (ICNL) is a 600-acre conservation reserve system managed by IC faculty, staff, and students. Student Interns play an important role in managing ICNL and gain valuable job skills in land, natural resource, and recreation management.
The most important step in preparing for an ICNL Student Intern job application is to join the Student Intern Training (SIT) program. The SIT program involves 1-3 credits of independent work in ENVS 201 or ENVS 301 (4-12 hours of work per week) guided and evaluated by the ICNL Faculty Manager. It requires high levels of self motivation, organization, time management, and professionalism.
For further information or to obtain permission to enroll, please contact ICNL Faculty Manager Jake Brenner at jbrenner@ithaca.edu by Wednesday August 28th.
