Paul Wilson, assistant professor in the Department of Art History, recently had an article and book chapter published.
The article “What’s the Time in Vyborg? The Counter-Restoration of a Functionalist Monument,” about a collaborative art project led by Liisa Roberts in Vyborg, Russia, appears in Future Anterior, a journal on the theory of historic preservation.
The chapter “Esko Männikön Globaali Erityisyys” [Esko Männikkö’s Global Particularities] situates the photographer in the context of art world globalization and is included in Pohjan tähdet [Polar Stars], an anthology published by the Finnish Museum of Photography in Helsinki.
