Jason Harrington's latest film, Breathing In, was included in the "Best of International Films" screening at the Canberra Short Film Festival in Australia and at Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival in Canada this weekend.
Harrington is an assistant professor in the Department of Media Arts, Sciences, and Studies.
Breathing In is a creation story, comprised of modern takes on ancient myths, images borrowed from religious iconography, and pagan symbolism. It follows the journey of a woman through the stages of creation as symbols morph into worlds and planets are eaten by dragons.
