Free t-shirts?! Volunteer for IC Spirit Week!

 Looking to build traditions and spirit on campus?! Volunteer for IC Spirit Week!

Over the past nine months, the IC Spirit Week Executive Board has been planning and collaborating with other organizations on campus to create a wonderful week that's filled with Ithaca College Spirit! 

 

This year, IC Spirit Week will take place from October 7-12, and will lead up to the college's annual Alumni Weekend. 

 

Although most of the planning for Spirit Week is complete, there are still a ton of ways for you to get involved with our organization. Take a look at our website— www.icspiritweek.com/event-calendar.html —to see all of the great things that are happening throughout the week. Not only should you come to all of these great events, but you should also consider becoming a volunteer to ensure the successful implementation and operation of any of our great events! In addition to the great events that we have planned, we're also looking for photographers for our evening events, as well as our Spirit Week Photo Booth (Monday-Thursday, 11 AM to 1 PM). We're also looking for volunteers to help table in Campus Center from 10 AM - 3 PM during all of next week.

 How do you sign-up to become a volunteer for IC Spirit Week, you might ask? Please email: icspiritweek@gmail.com  no later than FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2013 by 5 PM letting us know that you're indeed interested. Please include in this response:

  1. the events at which you're able to volunteer, 
  2. your t-shirt size,
  3. if you'd like to be a photographer        

SO, what are the perks of being a volunteer for IC Spirit Week?

  1. Front-row access to many of our events,
  2. Free IC gear (including a t-shirt!),
  3. Free access to the Alumni Weekend's Student-Alumni Picnic on Saturday, October 12 (normally $15),
  4. LOTS of FREE FOOD,
  5. Meeting new friends that share Ithaca College spirit, and
  6. Being a part of a new and exciting traditions on campus.

If you're interested in tabling next week, please fill-out docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc! Each day is broken-up into 5 hour-long shifts and you are able to sign-up for as many as you'd like! If you decide to table next week, we'll be sure to send you an email on Saturday or Sunday outlining what you'll need to do while there.

 Please note that there's a mandatory volunteer meeting on Tuesday, September 24 from 7-8 PM for everyone who agrees to volunteer. 

 It's gonna be a GREAT WEEK TO BE A BOMBER!
