There will be a talkback following the Sunday, October 6, 2PM matinee performance of IC Theatre's production of FIRES IN THE MIRROR.
FIRES IN THE MIRROR by Anna Deavere Smith will be presented by IC Theatre October 1-12. This piece chronicles the events - and divergent points of view - surrounding Brooklyn's Crown Heights riots of 1991. Following the 2PM matinee on October 6, there will be a talkback for audience members. This will be an opportunity for discussion on the events, ideas and attitudes that created this explosive tragedy.
