There is no Tragedy like Greek Tragedy.

The students of the Styles of Acting class would like to invite you over to the house.  The House of Atreus, that is.

On Wednesday February 26 at 12:15 p.m. in Studio 4 of Dillingham Center, acting majors will perform individual speeches by several characters from Greek tragedy.  You will see and hear eight tales of the fall of the House of Atreus from the points of view of Clytemnestra, Electra, Orestes and Aegisthus. Students will also perform, as a group, one of the choruses from Sophocles' Antigone.

The presentation is free and will last for about 40 minutes.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Greg Bostwick at gbostwick@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3794. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
