Ever been interested to know what a Buddhist retreat is like, but don't want to wander into the deep recesses of the forest?
Then stop by the Ithaca College Buddhist Community's "mini-retreat" at Muller Chapel on Saturday October 12th from 8-11 am! Activities include: sitting meditation, walking meditation, a sutta reading (Metta Sutta), and mindful eating (probably something breakfast-y). No one is obligated to come at 8 am or to stay until 11. Everyone is free to come and go as they wish. The event is free of charge and open to anyone interested.
If you want more information then stop by our table in the Campus Center Lobby on Monday or Wednesday between 11 am and 2 pm. If you do not know how to do sitting meditation, then stop by the table in Campus Center or you can e-mail kwalker3@ithaca.edu to set up an appointment.
We hope you can stop by on Saturday!
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Kevin Walker at kwalker3@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
