City Year is an education focused, nonprofit organization located in 21 cities in the U.S. 15 Ithaca College alumni from the Class of 2013 currently work with City Year! City Year unites young people of all backgrounds & majors for a year of full-time service to keep students in school and on track to graduation. As an Americorps program, Corp Members receive living stipends, health care and additional benefits.
You can help students and schools succeed by serving for one year with City Year. One million students drop out of school each year, and half of those dropouts come from just 12 percent of schools. City Year’s Long-Term Impact strategy will challenge the status quo, dramatically increasing the graduation pipeline and transforming the future for thousands of students in America.
