Photography Professor Ron Jude to lecture at SVA in New York City

The Camera Club of New York will host a lecture by Professor Jude at the School of Visual Arts in New York on Thursday, October 17th at 7 pm.

Ron Jude was born in Los Angeles, grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and currently lives in upstate New York where he teaches photography at Ithaca College. His photographs have been exhibited at venues such as Gallery Luisotti (Santa Monica), the Photographers’ Gallery (London), and Roth/Horowitz Gallery (New York). Jude is the co-founder of A-Jump Books and the author ofAlpine Star, Other Nature, emmett, Lick Creek Line, Executive Model and Fires. An extensive overview of his three Idaho projects (Alpine Star, Emmett and Lick Creek Line) was recently exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Photography at Columbia College Chicago. This fall he will contribute one of ten books to the Super Labo (Tokyo) project entitled Lost Home. Jude is represented by Gallery Luisotti in Santa Monica. His website is www.ronjude.com
