All are welcome to attend our bilingual performance of

"A propósito de la duda" / "For the Sake of Doubt"

Sunday December 8th, 2013

3pm in Textor 101

In preparation for our upcoming performance at the United Nations for International Human Rights Day on December 10th, we are welcoming the public to attend our final dress rehearsal on the Ithaca College campus.

"A propósito de la duda" is one of the foundational plays of the theater movement, Teatro por la identidad, devoted to raising awareness about human rights abuses in Argentina during the military dictatorship of 1976-83.

Approximately 500 babies and children were born in clandestine torture centers, taken from their biological families, appropriated, and raised under false identities by families tied to the military junta. The search for these 500 individual continues today. Grandchild 109 was just recently "recuperated" this past August 2013. He's 38 years old and is now learning his true identity.

Though the original play is entirely in Spanish, this performance will be bilingual (English and Spanish).
