Curious about Clickers or Paperless Grading in Sakai? Information Sessions Week of Dec 9

If you are teaching next semester and are considering a new technology for your courses, ITS is offering two information sessions which will be held in the Technology Learning Center in Friends 101.

Monday, December 9th, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

Turnitin: Turnitin is more than just originality checking software. It is integrated with Sakai and allows you to do paperless grading on your computer or an iPad. There is also a peer-review feature. <Register>

Thursday, December 12th, 9:30 am - 10:30 am

Turning Technologies: ITS supports this student response system. Come get an overview on how it works and how you can use it to engage or assess your students. <Register>

The first 20-30 minutes will be a demonstration and Q & A. The remaining time is optional for those who want some hands on experience.
