Optical Scanning Finals Week Procedures

Optical Scanning procedures and schedules are in place for Final Exam week Monday, December 16th through Friday, December 20th.

Optical scanning will be delivered to Computer Operations after the completion of the check-in process at ITS Help Desk Monday through Friday, December 16th – 20th (8am-5pm). Please allow for a twenty-four hour turnaround time during finals week. All requested reports will be added to the Instructor’s Sakai Drop Box (including report 101). We will not be printing reports. If you have not used Optical Scanning services until now you will be enrolled into your respective school worksite and a Drop Box will be created during the scanning process. Directions on how to retrieve your reports are sent via a Sakai message and to the Instructors@ ithaca.edu email address.

Regular Optical Scanning processing will resume after the Winter Holiday Break Thursday, January 2nd.

After Hours: Monday, December 16th through Thursday, December 19th (5pm-8pm)

Professors can drop off exams. All requested reports will be added to your Drop Box in Sakai when they are done being processed.
Exams must be to the operator by 7:30pm.
To drop off exams, instructors must call 274-3406 to make arrangements with the operator on duty.
Please note: Exams that are dropped off will be available at the ITS Help Desk at 8am the following morning.

After Hours: Friday, December 20th (5pm-8pm)

Professors can drop off exams. All requested reports will be added to your Drop Box in Sakai when they are done being processed.
Exams must be to the operator by 7:30pm.
Professors can also pick up exams that have been previously dropped off until 7:30pm.
To drop off and pick up exams professors must call 274-3406 to make arrangements with the operator on duty.
Please note: Exams that are dropped off and not picked up will be available at the ITS Help Desk on Monday, December 23rd at 8am.

The DEADLINE to submit final exams for processing is Monday, December 23rd at 12:00pm.

All exams will be processed on Monday, December 23rd and will be available in the Instructor’s Sakai Drop Box by 3:30pm. There will be no after-hour processing on Monday, December 23rd.
