The Greens Theatre Project, powered by the IC Greens, is looking for Ithaca College students that have written, or who are interested in writing original plays about social change, or another progressive topic. If you are interested in having your play produced, send it to us as a PDF or a word document at icgreens@ithaca.edu by the end of the day on Monday, January 20th, 2014.
The Greens Theatre Project is looking for Ithaca College students that have written, or are interested in writing original plays about social change, or another progressive topic. If you are interested in having your play produced, send it to us as a PDF or a word document at icgreens@ithaca.edu by the end of the day on Monday, January 20th, 2014. All scripts submitted will be reviewed within a week following the due date, and one or several may be selected for production. PLEASE spread the word about this- we want our inbox to be overloaded with script submissions!
Things to keep in mind:
-The Greens Theatre Project values sustainability, the environment, non-violence, and gender, social, racial, and class equality, among other things. We will most likely look for a play relating to one of these subjects.
-Scripts can be of ANY length. We might want to put on a full, 2-3 hour play, or we might want to put on a string of one-act plays. We won't know until you submit your works, so please do so!
-You are allowed to submit as many scripts as you desire!
Thank you all so much! We look forward to working with you on this.
P.S.- If you can't manage to finish your script by January 20th, 2014, don't worry! Send it to us later, and we'll consider it for production another semester!
