PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD: Teacher Recruitment Days (TRD) will be held this year on March 31 and April 1 at SUNY Cortland. During this event districts from across the country send recruiters to conduct interviews for known and anticipated vacancies. Graduate education programs will also be in attendance for candidates still seeking a master’s in education.
Ithaca College is one of 13 participating Central New York colleges and universities at TRD. Special participation guidelines are as follows: Graduate and undergraduate candidates who have a graduation date between Dec. '13 through Aug. '14 AND will be eligible for certification by Sept. '14 may register to attend TRD. There is a $10 non-refundable fee for attending TRD. The online application/registration for TRD is open only Feb. 10-21. For more information, visit: www.cnytrd.org.
It is highly recommended that students get their resumes reviewed by someone in Career Services before attending TRD. Drop-in hours are Monday through Thursday 12-4 p.m., and Fridays 12-3 p.m. Transportation is not provided for this event.
