Buzzsaw Magazine's Rush Night Wednesday, Jan. 29!

01/24/14

Contributed by Meagan McGinnes

Calling all writers, artists, videographers and creators! Buzzsaw Magazine is the college's premiere alternative magazine on campus and it is looking for new contributors at its meeting this Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. in Williams 323.

Each issue of the publication, released three times every academic semester, is written to a theme and features five distinct sections: News & Views (current events, local news and quasi-educated opinions), Upfront (selected dis-education of the month), Ministry of Cool (arts, entertainment, reviews and other cool things), Prose & Cons (short fiction, personal essay and other assorted lies) and Sawdust (satire in the vein of The Onion). We also have a mini- documentary/multimedia section called Seesaw, as well as art, layout, marketing, and blogging opportunities!

Come learn more about Buzzsaw Magazine and claim an article for this semester's first issue: The Sex Issue.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Meagan McGinnes at mmcginn1@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
