PCHSA is having two exciting events this week including a general body meeting and our Pack n' Party event to benefit new mothers in El Salvador.
Even if you are not a PCH major or have not been involved in PCHSA before, now is the perfect time to get involved!
The first general body meeting of the semester is this Thursday, February 20 at 7 pm in CHS bottom floor. During this meeting, you'll hear about the PCHSA events coming up this semester, meet other PCHSA members, and share any ideas you have for this semester. We want to hear your ideas and tell you about all the opportunities to get involved in PCHSA this semester!
PCHSA Pack n' Party! Join us for a pizza party as we pack supplies in baskets for our Mommy Kit's project! These baskets are going to an organization in El Salvador that provides pregnant women with basic birthing supplies (such as alcohol swabs, gloves, etc.) that they wouldn't otherwise have access to. Even if you have never been involved in PCHSA or the Mommy Kit's before, this is a great way to get involved and make a difference! The event will take place this Sunday, February 23 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm (but you can come at any point during that time) and will be located downtown at Cityview Apartments, 118 Prospect Street, Apartment 1E, right near the commons. There will be volunteer drivers to pick people up from campus and drop them off after the event. Please email us back at PCHSA@ithaca.edu and let us know if you need a ride or have any questions.
