Dan Heffner '78 will host an open student session on Friday, February 28 at 4 p.m. in Park Auditorium. He will talk about his time at IC, his career path, show clips from his recent projects and answer audience questions. Heffner’s began his career as a Stage Manager and Production Assistant on the Academy Award winning film "Kramer vs. Kramer.” Heffner moved to Los Angeles and has worked on a variety of films such as: "An Officer and a Gentleman, "The Big Chill," and was also hired as a Production Executive at Walt Disney Studios. Following this, Heffner worked on the “Saw” franchise and is currently in development for Serendipity Productions, Inc. as producer on seven films. Some of Heffner’s recent releases are “Knights of Badassdom,” “The Pin,” and releasing on April 18, 2014, “Make Your Move.”
