Outlook Calendar Tip of the Week - Adjusting Your Working Time

You can adjust the working hours and days of your calendar so that others know when your work day starts and ends.  Once set, in the day or week view your calendar will appear white during working hours and all other hours will be shaded.  To adjust your working time:

In Outlook 2010, go to File>Options and click Calendar on the left bar. You will see options under "Work Time" to adjust these settings.

In Outlook 2011, go to Outlook>Preferences and click the Calendar icon. You will see options under "Work schedule" to adjust these settings.

In the Outlook Web App, click the "gear" icon in the upper right-hand corner and select Options.  On the left side of this screen, click settings and then click calendar.  You will see options under "appearance" to adjust these settings.

Every week, ITS provides a tip or trick for using the Outlook Calendar.  Training on Outlook Calendar is available in the Technology Learning Center (Friends Hall 101).
