Chris Hummel, MS, ATC to receive national service award from National Athletic Trainers' Association at June Annual Meeting
Department of Exercise & Sports Sciences Clinical Associate Professor, Chris Hummel, MS, ATC has been recognized by the National Athletic Trainers' Association for his dedicated and continued service to the profession by being selected as a 2014 winner of an "Athletic Trainer Service Award". Over the years, Chris has been an active member and Officer with the New York State Athletic Trainers' Association, a volunteer with the US Olympic Training Center, an important contributor to the NY State AT Legislative agenda, an abstract reviewer for the Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association Research Committee, a manuscript reviewer forAthletic Training and Sports Health Care, and given several educational presentations on concussion and athlete safety to various groups. Chris will receive his award at the 2014 NATA Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposium in Indianapolis, in June.
