Asma Barlas gives keynote in Norway

Asma Barlas, professor and director of the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity (CSCRE) was invited to deliver a keynote on International Women's Day in Drammen, Norway, by the Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi) (www.imdi.no/en/sprak/english/).  IMDi's work focuses on immigrant communities and the keynote was about violence against Muslim women.
