On Saturday, March 29 at 7pm in the Muller Chapel Ithaca College students and faculty, along with Ithaca community members will be hosting a benefit concert for the Tibetan Children's Village. The lineup of performers will be: Ithaca Children's Choir, The Rumble Scene, Pablo Cohen and Dreamt. There will also be a raffle going on throughout this week for gift cards to places around Ithaca. Raffle tickets and support bracelets will be available in Campus Center from 10:00 - 2:00 every day this week.
The event is free but donations are encouraged. All proceeds will be going to the TCV in India, a program that educates Tibetan children in exile as well as giving them a home. We will be donating specifically to their music and arts programs, as part of their mission is to preserve the Tibetan culture through education as it is being eradicated by the Chinese invasion in Tibet.
