This coming weekend (April11-13) , VIC Radio and 91.7 FM WICB will be hosting our 28th Annual 50 Hour Marathon! This year’s beneficiary is the Veterans Sanctuary of Tompkins County, an organization that hosts peer-based programs in order to help recent veterans transition from combat to civilian life. These programs include the Ithaca Warrior Writers group, a community farm, and their Combat Paper printmaking shop, where veterans create works of art out of their old uniforms.
Four VICers will be staying up for 50 hours this year. The DJs are junior Jess “Stoop Kid” Lubas and sophomore Joe “DJ JC” Calinda. Our Street Teamers are seniors David “Gada Dave” Sperling and Patrick “Hazy” Hayes. You can join them at our scavenger hunt this Friday and other events that are TBA.
