This is a general notification about the annual campus electrical shutdown on Saturday, May 31, 2014 and Saturday, August 9, 2014.
In order to perform required maintenance to the campus electrical system it is necessary to have two separate dates during the summer months when we do an electrical shutdown for the entire campus. The shutdowns run from 6:00AM to 6:00PM.
It is the advice of Information Technology Services that all computers and printers be unplugged before these interruptions. Please communicate this to the appropriate personnel within your department.
As always, staff from the Office of Facilities will be present on campus during the shut down and on call after these interruptions to ensure all systems resume their normal functions.
