Educational Benefits Deadline Reminder and Full Time Student Status

Dependent Tuition Remission applications for returning students should be submitted no later than May 1st for the upcoming academic year.

Employee Tuition Remission applications should be submitted  one month prior to the start of the semester. If you are considering taking courses during the summer session please see the Educational Benefit Policy pertaining to Summer Sessions.

Dependent Cash Awards applications should be submitted by June 1st for fall and December 1st for spring along with a copy of a tuition bill for the semester you are applying for the benefit.

If you have a dependent who will be turning 19 this year and does not receive educational benefits, you will need to verify full time student status with the Office of Human Resources by their 19th birthday to ensure continued coverage under our dental, vision & hearing care plan, accidental death & dismemberment, and dependent life  If you have a dependent who is 19 or older and is not a full time student or registered disabled, they are not eligible for coverage under our dental, vision & hearing care plan, accidental death & dismemberment, and dependent life.
