The School of Business is proud to host the Third Annual Susatinability Case Competition, Wednesday, April 16, at 4 p.m. in Business 301.

This year's case will focus on researching and developing a marketing plan for the Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC), for a food establishment, possibly a franchise, on the Northside of Ithaca, where the individuals served by GIAC could be trained to run.

Student teams conducted market research, developed feasibility studies, collaborated with GIAC personnel and those served by GIAC, and have developed their plan.

Teams will compete for a total of $10,000 in prize money ($5,000 first place, $3,500 second, and $1,500 for third). The overall goal is for students to learn about how sustainability issues impact the real world, locally and globally.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Paul Deamer at pdeamer@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-1279. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
