Chemistry students attend American Chemical Society National Meeting

Four chemistry undergraduate students attended the American Chemical Society National Meeting in Dallas, TX from March 16-19 in 2014, and presented posters on their faculty-student collaborative research projects.

 

 

Kyle Clifford (Chemistry ’14), Zackary Jones (Chemistry ’15) and Akiko Fillinger, “ Phase and morphological variation of silver oxide films electrodeposited from ammnonical silver solutions”.

Martin Cerny (Chemistry ’14) and Janet Hunting, “Improvement of PEM fuel cells: The synthesis of transition metal doped tin and titanium dioxide”. 

Brendan Duran (Chemistry ’14) and Mike Haaf, “Tri-and-tetra-dentate quinolide organometallic catalysts for stereocontrolled rac-lactide polymerization”.
