As of right now, the first film being made is a short comedy.
The users of TentSquare decided all this. Music Students, Film Students, Actors, and
more are all invited to join the site and vote and submit. Right now they are looking for
submissions for the Director and Cinematographer positions.

TentSquare is "the first completely crowdsourced production studio with an integrated
social network. From the earliest development phases all the way through postproduction our members weigh-in". Essentially, TentSquare is an interactive production studio whose films are controlled completely by the built in social network. It is also designed to connect the people in the industry with students to help create relationships and career opportunities. As of right now, the first film being made is a short comedy.
The users of TentSquare decided all this. Music Students, Film Students, Actors, and
more are all invited to join the site and vote and submit. Right now they are looking for
submissions for the Director and Cinematographer positions. It is a great opportunity for
anyone 18 and older and you get to vote once every 24 hours! These are the selection
processes:
Director:
The 3 directors with the most votes will move on to the interview round of the
competition featuring our TentSquare judges. TentSquare members will then vote on the
finalists based on their interviews but our judges will get to save or eliminate 1 director of their choice to help decide the final 2. In the final round of the competition, directors will be asked to direct a scene from the short film. The director whose scene gets the most votes earns the job and title TentSquare Director.
Cinematographer:
The 3 cinematographers with the most votes will move onto the interview round of the
competition with our TentSquare director and judges. TentSquare members will then vote on the finalists based on their interviews but our judges and director will get to save or eliminate 1 cinematographer of their choice to help decide the final 2. In the final round of the competition, cinematographers will be asked to submit a visual treatment for the film. The cinematographer with the most votes earns the job and title TentSquare Cinematographer.
Other perks of being chosen: $100 a day, being flown for free, free housing (hotels and
such) and the chance to make a film produced by a company and not for school! Bellow
is a link to TentSqaure so you can check out the sight! Check it out! I'm sure you will like
what you see!
