On Tuesday, April 22, at 5:30 pm in Emerson Suites, entrepreneurs will make their pitch for a chance to walk away with $20,000.

Six teams will give a ten minute presentation about their company, followed by a Q&A from a panel of experienced judges, including; Michael Axelrod '91, Jerry Dietz '75 and Mark French '97.

After deliberation, the top three business plans will be announced. First place will win $20,000, second $10,000 and third $5,000.  There will also be an honorary mention and audience choice award.  The demands for the businesses will be higher, but so is the prize money.

Thanks to School of Business alumnus Chirstopher J. Burch, Ithaca College has hosted an annual Business Idea Competition since 2011.  Since it's inception, students have been encouraged to create business ideas and practice pitching those ideas on a tight timeline in a business format. Now, Ithaca College is very excited and proud to host the Inaugural Business Plan Competition.
