ICMLL is a college chapter of The World Needs More Love Letters. We work to make the campus a happier, friendlier place with love letters — kind and encouraging notes that we hide around campus for people to find at random. We also put together love letter bundles for specific people who are nominated to receive them. ICMLL is currently running a campaign called IC Love at First Sight, in which we are writing love letters to incoming students. The students will find them on their desks the first time they walk into their rooms in the fall.
We have a lot of great ideas for events and programs next year, but two of our current e-board members, Faith Meckley and Kaitlin Logsdon won't be with us next year. Faith is taking a semester off to participate in the Great March for Climate Action, and Kaitlin has been elected to the 2014–2015 Student Government Association executive board, which is a huge time commitment!
We need the help of two students who are interested in ICMLL and passionate about making the campus a better place to fill Faith and Kaitlin's places.
If you love getting and sending snail mail, if you enjoy hot cocoa and cozying up to a fireplace in the winter, and if you spend your summer days basking in the sun and enjoying the sounds of nature, you might just be perfect for these positions. Love letter writers come in all shapes and sizes, but they all share a love for people and life.
