Six teams made their pitch to a panel of experienced professionals for a chance to win $20,000 at the Inaugural Business Plan Competition. And the winner is...............KettleShell!
KettleShell, developed by Tim Reynolds '14, is an adapter for dumbbells that attaches to the shaft of a dumbbell, which allows users to utilize dumbbells in a kettlebell-like fashion. The idea for the KettleShell was developed in the fall of 2012, and over the last year and a half, has been developed into a market-ready product.
The other two top teams were Backwoods TechGear, LLC, and SnoBall. Cody Ohlheiser '14 and Jeff Jaquith '15, of Backwoods TechGear, LLC, walked away with $10,000 and Antione Connors '14, James Newton '14 and Bryan Blanchette '14, won $5,000.
