Students must attend a Student Driver Safety Class in order to drive a College owned/leased vehicle and must be present for the entire 2 hour class.

The last Student Driver Safety Class offered for the semester will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 7pm to 9pm in Textor 101.

Students can register on-line for the class at:  www.ithaca.edu/riskmanagement/ed_prog/.

We recommend students review the Student Driver Handbook in advance.

To become an approved driver students must take the driver safety class, pass the test at the close of the class, submit a Driver Information Form and be at least 21 years of age.  Departments should plan on at least 14 business days for the College's insurance broker to review information on potential drivers.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact the Office of Risk Management via telephone at 607-274-3285 or via email at: riskmanagement@ithaca.edu.  We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
