As a culmination of their graduate education in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Ithaca College, students presented their posters from the small group work done with faculty mentors in the Advanced Clinical Reasoning course. The student groups participated in an oral examination by faculty mentors prior to the presentations. Dr. Debbie Nawoczenski, as course coordinator, kicked off the event in the beautiful refectory in Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinty School at the Rochester Center.
The thirteen faculty mentors included four ICPT faculty and nine community partners from the University of Rochester Medical Center, Unity Health Systems, Nazareth College, Lifetime Care and other private practice settings. Listed below are the poster titles, mentors and DPT student groups.
The event included a sharing of posters with faculty, students, staff, family members and special guests and a reception. In conclusion, Dr. Nawoczenski thanked everyone for their participation and support of the program in Rochester over the years. The Rochester Center will be closing in August and the final year of the program with be relocated to the Ithaca Campus.
