The Center for Faculty Excellence is pleased to announce its Faculty-in-Residence for the 2014-2015 academic year.  Each of the Residents will focus on a project that has relevance for the College.

Katherine Beissner, Professor of Physical Therapy, will continue her work on faculty-student scholarship/research/creativity collaborations.

Belisa Gonzalez, Associate Professor of Sociology, will continue the initiatives on recruiting and retaining faculty of color at Ithaca College.  Dr. Gonzalez has partnered with Assistant Provost Danette Johnson and Michelle Rios-Dominguez, HR Manager of Diversity and Inclusion, in these efforts.

Interdisciplinary inquiry will be the focus of the work of Gordon Rowland, Professor of Strategic Communication.

Gary Sforzo, Professor of Exercise and Sports Science, has proposed work on technology-enhanced learning as the focus of his year as a Faculty-in-Residence.

We welcome Katherine, Belisa, Gordon, and Gary and look forward to working with each of them in the next academic year.
