Assistant Professor Christopher House of the Department of Communication Studies in H&S is one of eleven scholars for around the world who have been invited to participate in a Seminar on Debates about Religion and Sexuality at Harvard Divinity School in June 2014.
These scholars were selected because of noteworthy projects designed to change the terms of current debates around religion and sexuality. Dr. House will present research on religion and sexuality as it intersects with HIV/AIDS within the religious rhetorics of Black Diasporic Protestant churches.
Dr. House came to Ithaca College as one of the predoctoral diversity fellows in the School of Humanities and Sciences. He was recently identified as a 2014 TRIO alumni achiever by the Association for Equality and Excellence in Education.
