Lynne Pierce, associate director for student and young alumni programs, and Samantha Gibble '15, vice president of Ithaca College's Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (STAT), presented at the recent Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Conference on Young Alumni and Student Engagement, held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in early June.

In addition, Lynne and Sam attended the preconference workshop, "Cultivating Student Philanthropy," during which they shared programming ideas with newcomers to the advancement profession and professionals with mid-level responsibility. They discussed their experience planning and implementing a successful student philanthropy education program, "I Love IC Week."

Lynne also presented her work over this past year with two task forces to develop class councils for undergraduates and alumni. She discussed the process used to engage our stakeholders in the development of these organizations, and the successes and challenges encountered along the way to create a seamless transition from student volunteer/donor to alumni volunteer/donor.
