Laura presented at the 2014 Canadian Health Libraries Association, held June 17-20, 2014, in Montreal. The conference theme was "Scaling New Heights Together". Laura's lecture was entitled, "Research Syntheses in Graduate Research: A Scoping Review."
Laura discussed her research describing research syntheses produced by graduate students at the masters and doctoral level. Proquest Dissertation and Theses was searched from 1981 to 2012 using 27 search terms. Over 4,500 records were retrieved with 2,250 included records. Analysis of the metadata was presented along with implications directly related to graduate research.
