Last Tertulia of the Semester: Spanish Conversation Practice

12/04/14

Contributed by Maria DiFrancesco

tertulia is a social gathering with literary or artistic overtones, especially in Spain or Latin America. If you are a student of Spanish, speak Spanish at home and miss speaking it on campus, or if you are simply looking to meet others who are passionate about the Spanish-speaking world and its cultures, then this is your chance! Come join the fun!

When & Where: Mondays from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00 pm  in the Language and Cultural Exchange Cooperative (Job 209) . Note: Now both sessions meet in the LCEC! Tertulias will be held until next week, the final week of classes!!! They will start up again next semester.

Why: This is a great opportunity for you to  practice your Spanish language skills in a supportive, relaxed environment with native speakers of Spanish. While students of all language abilities are welcome, note that we hope to gear Monday sessions toward lower-level (beginner and intermediate) students and Tuesday sessions toward intermediate and advanced level students.
