Did you know that we have six honeybee hives right on Ithaca College campus? Haven’t you been wanting to learn more about these amazing pollinators that help to keep our grocery stores full of fruits, vegetables and nuts? And do you want to see just how silly you look in a beekeeping suit?
Come to the Ithaca College Honeybee-Yard Open House this Saturday, Sept. 20! We will meet at the Park Communications Building bus stop at 1pm and will walk down to the honeybee-yard from there (about a 5 minute walk). You will learn the ins and outs of our beehives and will get to know our three unique hive designs. You'll even have a chance to taste our famous South Hill Forest Products honey! Bee there or bee square!
