September is National Campus Safety Awareness Month, and the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management would like to remind you of some of the resources available to you through our office.
* A Public Safety dispatcher is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year at 607-274-3333.
* Public Safety escorts for travelling on campus can be requested through the dispatch center.
* Our dedicated Patrol and Security staff routinely patrols every area of campus. Please stop an officer on patrol if you are ever in need of assistance or support.
* Public Safety can provide vehicle jump starts and other vehicular assistance.
* Cost-free bicycle registration is available as a crime deterrent and to improve the chances of recovering your lost or stolen bicycle.
* Many informational guides to strategies for staying safe on campus and on reaching out to other college resources are available on our departmental web site at www.ithaca.edu/sacl/safety.
These resources and many other forms of assistance, support, and information are available through the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management at Ithaca College. We invite your questions and comments via our general business line at 607-274-3353 or by e-mail at publicsafety@ithaca.edu, and thank you for your support in contributing to a safe environment on our campus.
