Since 1964, the C.P. Snow Lecture Series has been bringing speakers to campus whose work illustrates or emphasizes a bridge between the sciences and the humanities. Each year we grant a C.P. Snow Scholar Award, which recognizes a student whose career at Ithaca College successfully combines scientific and humanistic studies.
Prize Award: $500
Eligible applicants should have junior or senior standing, a minimum GPA of 3.0, and have demonstrated a record of interdisciplinary work within the humanities and sciences.
Complete applications include a 1000-word essay, two letters of recommendation from faculty, and a copy of the student's transcript.
Please submit all application materials by Wednesday October 15 to the C.P. Snow Committee by electronic attachment to: cpsnow@sakai.ithaca.edu.
