IC More Than Me atn She's the First * are bringing the critically acclaimed documentary Girl Rising to Ithaca College on Tuesday, October 7th at 7:30 PM in Business 103.
The film follows girls from around the world and gives an unprecedented look into their circumstances and not only the barriers they face but also the triumphs and victories they achieve. The screening will be followed by a brief discussion and Q&A with the sponsoring organizations. All students are encouraged to attend the event and learn more about these girls' opportunities and hurdles leading up to the International Day of the Girl on October 11, 2014.
