Sri Vedachalam from Cornell University’s Water Resources Institute, will speak at IC’s ENVS Seminar on Monday 10/13

Sri Vedachalam is a postdoctoral research associate at the Water Resources Institute. He received his PhD in Environmental Science from The Ohio State University, where he worked on interdisciplinary approaches to wastewater management. His research is centered on water and wastewater infrastructure issues, including assessment, planning, financing, use, and regulation. He is actively involved with the nonprofit, Association for India’s Development, and until recently, served on its Executive Board.

At Monday’s seminar he will talk about his perspective on water and sanitation challenges in the Indian Subcontinent. Please join us at 3:45 in CNS 112 to meet Dr. Vedachalam and enjoy sustainable snacks supplied by Sodexo, and then at 4:00 for the presentation!
