Change of Major is now part of Workflow!

Looking to change your major? Similar to the Online Course Override Form, the Change of Major (COM) process is now completely electronic! This is a project developed by the Academic Workflow Implementation Group.

The Change of Major Form is a streamlined process that will allow students to change, add, or delete a major in an efficient manner that provides clear communication to the student, the new major/school and, when appropriate, the old school/department chair/advisor.

The form is available to the campus community at the Academic Workflow website: https://aecmws.ithaca.edu/wf/ Once the student completes the form, the data is then sent electronically to the appropriate faculty reviewer/chair/dean who will have the ability to access, deliberate, and decide on the request with the click of a button.

The Academic Workflow Implementation Group will also be rolling out some new projects before the end of the fall semester. These initiatives include new electronic processes for filing an Incomplete, Change of Grade, and requesting SAS Testing Accommodations.
