"Telling Amy's Story":Screening and Open Discussion. October 21st, 7-8:30pm, Textor 102

Join us for a screening of the documentary "Telling Amy's Story" followed by an open forum discussion to voice your opinions on how the Ithaca College community can improve its community response to intimate partner violence and sexual assault. 

    This 40-minute film follows the timeline of a domestic violence homicide that helps raise awareness about the experience of abuse, barriers for victims seeking safety and the important role that all members of the community have in preventing future tragedies. 

In recognition of the importance that all community groups have in preventing intimate partner violence and sexual assault and their role in supporting survivors, there are many campus organization co-sponsoring this event. These organization include: Feminists United, Interfaith Council, IC Sister 2 SisterIC Planned Parenthood Generation Action,Ithaca College HillelIthaca College Athlete AllyActive Minds at Ithaca College, Brothers for Brothers, Women’s & Gender Studies, Psychology Department, CAPS, Public Safety, Title IX, FYRE: Power & Justice, & the LGBT Center.
